Sound Recording and Production I

ARTS-2700

An introductory studio course covering the principles of critical listening, psychoacoustics, the art of music recording, and the basic use of digital equipment for music production and post-production. Hands-on assignments in a professional sound facility will be combined with readings and historical examples drawing on popular and experimental styles.
