<p>
This course will encompass marine, freshwater, and terrestrial microfossils (with emphasis on foraminifera), including taxonomy, evolutionary history, ecology and paleoenvironments, and a broad spectrum of micropaleontological applications, such as sea-level and climate reconstructions, geochemical analyses, oil industry research and production, and forensic geology.
