Human Population

BIOL-4520

This interdisciplinary science course examines the human ecology of the global human overpopulation problem. Pollution, resource depletion, extinctions, unrest and carrying capacity are explored, as well as political, psychological, cultural and technological adaptations. Feedback mechanisms will be proposed, discussed, and interpreted. Students will engage in debate and systems dynamics model building.
