Emphasis on existing and emerging engineering applications. Parallel distributed processing, Hebb’s rule, Hopfield net, back-propagation algorithm, perceptrons, unsupervised learning, Kohenen self-organizing map, genetic algorithms, neocognitron, adaline. Illustrated with computer programs and lectures.
