Introduction to Optoelectronics Technology

ECSE-4370

The nature of optics, physics, and operation principles of optoelectronic devices and systems for communication, display, lighting, and computing. Topics include optics fundamentals, waveguide and fibers, LEDs, laser diode, photodetectors, solar cells, liquid crystal devices, modulators, optical display, and light detection and ranging (LiDAR) systems.
