Lake George Biology Limnology & Underwater Ecology

BIOL-4870

The goal of this interdisciplinary course is to teach students about limnology and freshwater ecology using Lake George as a model system. Chemical, physical, and biological characteristics that are critical for understanding the functioning of an aquatic ecosystem will be examined, as will the utilization of traditional and modern instrumentation and sampling and the analysis of big environmental data sets.
