Advanced Chemical Reactor Design

CHME-6640

Analysis of ideal and nonideal chemical reactor operation with simple and multiple homogeneous, heterogeneous, and catalytic reactions. Interplay of chemical and mass and energy and momentum transport processes in model reactors and catalytic particles. Topics include transient and steady-state operation, residence time distribution, multiplicity, stability, selectivity control, and catalyst deactivation.
